Blacksmiths Knife Group Day Experience
Description
Our knife making courses are designed to give you the opportunity to explore different traditional bladesmithing techniques. Using a higher carbon steel, you will hand forge a rats-tail style handle and the blade. Once the forging has been completed and your new, for life, knife, has cooled, we will take you through the steps of grinding a bevel edge on your knife, using our Engineering Shop Master Belt grinder. You can then, take your knife home to sharpen.
What's included in the price?
A hearty lunch, all snacks and drinks are all included, along with materials and fuel for the coke fires.
