"I have just attended the course today and loved it from start to finish. Fi was delightful and put me at ease straight away, helping when needed, but letting you use your imagination. I would recommend this course 100% and I am looking forward to seeing my creation!!"

Amanda reviewed: Candlemaking for Beginners

"An absolutely brilliant day, thanks to a very patient Rob (I was late due to the flooding on the roads) and two lovely ladies who made the experience equally as enjoyable and fun. Rob was informative and certainly made us feel welcome and at ease, I was even told off a few times! (being too eager or cheeky probably). I learnt many technical skills that I was missing and with my freshly honed skills, I'm looking forward to making and selling as part of my craft business. Thank you so much Rob and I will hopefully look forward to the next level of candle making skills/making moulds etc. Thank you!"

BARBARA THOMAS reviewed: Silver jewellery workshop for beginners with Jude Karnon

"My daughter and I had a wonderful day - seven and half hours spent making jewellery with a short break for a delicious lunch. Jude even managed to work out a way for my daughter to achieve the complex origami style pendant that she had thought up (although there were sighs when my daughter realised that she was giong to have to do some very delicate soldering). It was very much a hands on experience which was great, even better we each managed to make three pieces of jewellery."

Brian Hirst reviewed: One to one, One day, blacksmith course

"I was bought a one day course as a present by my kids. I had a great time ... Now I just need to get my own forge ... Plus maybe a bit more tuition! Alex is a great teacher, very patient and attentive but equally happy to let me get on with it and learn stuff for myself. I would thoroughly recommend it, and certainly be happy to go again, maybe my arm won't ache quite so much next time! Cheers Alex"

Victoria Sampson reviewed: Metalwork Craft weekend with The Iron Lady - Bradwell Blacksmiths

"What an amazing weekend!! I can't praise Natalie and the team highly enough for giving me so much confidence and making the whole weekend so much fun. I was quite apprehensive to start with but Natalie's energy, enthusiasm and obvious love of her job was infectious and put us all at ease immediately. It really didn't matter what our level of experience was as we were given full instruction's and shown how to use all the equipment and plenty of time and help to practice. I honestly thought we would be given a pre-formed project to put together, but no ... all our projects we made from scratch and everyone one on the course went home with something amazing they had created. I would highly recommend this course to everyone and hope I get an opportunity to do more. A great experience!!!"

Val reviewed: Wood carving classes in Pembrokeshire, Wales

"I was quite nervous about starting a course where I was a complete beginner and had little previous experience of any craft work. I need not have worried. Anthony's courses are relaxed, informative and really enjoyable. He tutors on an individual basis according to your skill level. He patiently guides you through your project giving clear and helpful suggestions in a non-intrusive way. The whole atmosphere is very relaxing and well worth trying."

Rebecca Browne reviewed: Candlemaking for Beginners

"Thoroughly enjoyed this experience from start to finish. Rob put us at ease from the start to finish. I managed to take away the confidence and excitement to begin making candles for myself and my family. The enthusiasm from this course is relentless, I’m driving everyone nuts talking about it. I cannot recommend this course enough. My friend would love to attend another course just on making moulds alone."

Rob reviewed: Metalwork Craft weekend with The Iron Lady - Bradwell Blacksmiths

"Had a great time and would definitely recommend to anyone. Day 1. After the Health & Safety chat & putting on safety gear it's pretty much all hands on:- with grinders & polishers, MIG & TIG welders, plasma cutter and the forge! There's plenty of opportunity to get comfortable with and understand the kit, experiment with different techniques etc. all the time Natalie & team are on hand supporting and encouraging. Day 2. You're making your chosen project using the kit you experimented with yesterday. Again there's plenty of encouragement, support, guidance and supervision. Natalie is amazing, very talented & passionate and she clearly thrives on seeing us get into our projects & enjoy working with metal. Everyone made something they could be proud of, even me, and everyone was smiling & enjoying the experience all the time."

Victoria Reffin reviewed: Metalwork Craft weekend with The Iron Lady - Bradwell Blacksmiths

"Booked the two day course for my Mum and myself as christmas presents. Arrived to a really warm welcome by Natalie and her team!! We felt comfortable straight away. After a chat and coffee we explored the workshop, where you could clearly see how much love and passion Natalie has for what she does. Natalie's enthusiam was really nice to see, a breath of fresh air!! We went freelance on exploring everything she showed us that day. On the second day we created our chosen product, after a day of practice and investigating all the equipment we felt at ease knowing we could operate everything safely. It was so much fun. Something so different and enjoyable!! Would highly reccommend every single bit of it. I loved it, i know my Mum did too!!!! Thank you again!!!!"

"Treated my mum to this course for Mother’s Day as something a little different to do together. Saz made us feel so welcome and it was great to chat to other students who dropped in to work on their clay projects. We had a wonderful time and cannot wait to see our finished snails; Hughbert Sebastian Forbes and Horace! We will definitely be back."

Tom Magal reviewed: Wood turning courses in the Midlands

"I have just had a one-on-one day course with Mark and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. The day started with the basics of the lathe and tools, progressed through parallel grain turning techniques and finished ended with me turning a bowl from a piece of ash. The knowledge and expertise that Mark passed onto me is invaluable to me, and I thoroughly recommend his courses. Thanks for your patience with me Mark!"

Sheryl Kendall reviewed: Country House Crafting Retreats in rural Hertfordshire

"The best place to get on with your own projects. Lovely grounds apparently, not really seen them too busy crafting. Fabulous home cooked food. 5ft table to spread out on for the whole weekend. Bedrooms very basic but only slept there and showered so very adequate. Been going for years and a bit addicted now. Page challenge is probably my most dreaded and favourite part ... really gets you thinking and doing something different."

Jean Lewis reviewed: Needle Felting

"What a thoroughly enjoyable workshop. Sandy was enthusiastic and it was catching. I even came home with something that looked like a fox. It was my first time doing needle felting and I loved. It was a lovely setting and the atmosphere was relaxed, fun and friendly. The time just flew by. I also have to mention Anna's cakes - to die for !!! I had determined to learn at least one new thing a year and this was just what I wanted. I hope to come to some more. Sandy did warn it could become addictive. I cannot thank Sandy and Anna enough."

Lisa reviewed: Beginners Pottery Day Course

"I have just completed Matthew's One Day Throwing Course and I can't praise the day enough! I have never thrown a pot before and didn't know if I would be able to do it, so felt a little nervous. No need! Matthew immediately put me at ease, very easy going and chatty so before you know it, you've thrown a pot with confidence. Matthew is a superb teacher and works at your own pace, giving clear and encouraging instruction all the while. I finished the day with some pots that I am so proud of and wanting to continue to learn more. It's great that there is flexibility in booking the course that suits me. If you're thinking about it...do it!"
