"This is the second course I have done with Sarah. I thoroughly enjoyed the first one and had the opportunity to make a whole new selection of candles on the second one. Sarah is well organised and very informative and you can see she really likes teaching. The class is structured but relaxed. The time passes really quickly but you manage to make a cross section of candles and I was really pleased with mine. So much so that I have just received a candle making kit as an early Christmas present. I will definitely be signing up to do more."

"My husband and I did the one-day blacksmithing course in November. Chris is welcoming, friendly and hugely knowledgeable and we had a fantastic day. He gives only as much help as a person needs, so we really got a feel for the techniques and heating the metal. It felt like we really created the pieces by ourselves - Chris didn't take them off us or do any of the work for us, so our creations were truly ours. He's also very passionate about the art and about making it accessible to amateurs. Honestly can't recommend him highly enough and will definitely be returning in the future for another session with him."

"What a lovely way to spend the day. Thanks to Steve, the day was interesting, informative, stimulating, challenging but above all fun. I was a complete beginner and also quite 'special' requiring some extra guidance at times. Steve was clear with the instructions at each stage which helped to allay any fears I had concerning the use of such sharp saws, axes and knives!! There was a really friendly, pleasant atmosphere, our group of 5 were affable and supportive, the lunch of soup and bread was tasty and tea, coffee and biscuits plentiful. I am proud of the spoon that emerged from the rough chunk of wood and really do think that I may be tempted to whittle away again in the future. Thanks Steve."

"Very good workshop - Jim is very knowledgeable, both in terms of preparing material for screenprinting and in making screens and applying the screens to glass. He is very organised and the workshop ran very smoothly. He is also a patient teacher and was very generous with his time and know-how. I was amazed by how many items I managed to make over the two-day period. It was both enjoyable and rewarding and it even included a scrumptious lunch!"
