Very exciting and relaxing candling making session. Sarah made every one welcome, session was not rushed, instructions were very clear. Sarah explained all aspects of quality candle making, types of wax, scented candles. I will definitely be making my own candles at home and I will book another session in the new year. I felt very proud of myself having made some candles to take home and show my family and friends.
Sarah’s support continues after the sessions. Highly recommended candle making course.

I really enjoyed the session. It was well structured and Sarah has a lovely teaching style: honest, encouraging and clearly enjoys what she does. I was pleasantly surprised by how much we achieved in the session and was happy to go home with so many goodies to show off my new skills! I'd definitely recommend Sarah's course :-)

Response from Candle by Events:Hi Stevie, really pleased you enjoyed the workshop - Happy candle-making!
I really enjoyed my day, it was informative, hands on and a relaxed environment, all supplies were ready but you could choose colours, fragrance to be as creative as you liked, which made it more fun and personal.
Sarah is friendly and good fun, I would definitely going on this course if you are in London. It's great on a Sunday and finishes early afternoon and doesn't start too early either! All different types of candle making is covered but I was happy that we used the soy wax as I plan to make the most natural candles possible.
Good tips and advice given and am looking forward to making many more candles in the future! I would recommend this course, I did it alone but it could be fun to go and partner up with a friend or loved one as other people had. It's a fun day at a good price and you get to bring home quite a few of your creations, it was nice at the end of the day when I got home to burn my very own first home made lavender scented candle!

Having chatted about the dream of making my own candles, I was given this course as a Christmas present. Not knowing entirely what to expect from it I was delighted to find that you actually make a few different candles during this fun but informative experience. Sarah was very friendly and clearly passionate about what she does and encourages you to carry on with it on your own and offering support. Would thoroughly recommend

After receiving a candle making kit the Christmas before last, I’d been unsuccessfully trying my hand at candle making for around a year. This course was just what I needed to set me up for success. The content was excellent and it was very well organised. I had a really fun time, learnt lots and came away feeling more confident and prepared. Sarah is a great instructor, very knowledgeable and helpful. The support doesn’t stop at the end of the course either - Sarah is happy to answer questions as you practice after the course which is really appreciated. Wholeheartedly recommend this course!

This has to be the best course I’ve done this year. Sarah is extremely helpful and clear, she makes it so easy! I came away with a goody bag full of candles, some of which have been given as Xmas presents already.I highly recommend this course to anyone with a wish to make candles. It was only 3 hours long and very informative, the follow up email with tips and source details is also helpful and I’ve already ordered a kit to continue making them at home. Thanks very much Sarah!

My daughter and her friends had an amazing time making candles at her 10th birthday party. Sarah was very friendly and the girls felt immediately at ease with her. Sarah explained everything really clearly and made the party fun and informative. All of the girls went home with hand decorated party bags to hold the fabulous scented candles they had made, I would recommended Sarah 100% to anyone looking for a slightly different party. Thank you so much Sarah !
Andrea Harper - - #11497
Thank you Sarah for making my daughter's 11th Birthday party so special. It was such a fantastic party engaging all the girls for the full duration starting nicely by giving insights into different fragrances & some facts about candle making. Very resourceful and well organised we highly recommend this party.
Mythili Krishnaraj - - #8707
My daughter and her friends had a lovely time at the candle-making party and all the parents have been commenting on how nice it was to do something a bit different. It was also good to have a bit of an introduction into candles - I learned a few things myself!
Sarah Ghai - - #8704
Thank you for running such a fantastic party for Molly yesterday; she had a super time, as did her friends. Parents have been commenting how much their children enjoyed the party and how impressed they are with the candles they have brought home.
I have no doubt you will see us again, as our younger daughter is now asking for a candle-making party too!
Caroline - - #8277
Thank you for coming to do Annabel's party. It was really nice to do something different and a bit more ‘grown-up’. All the girls (and the boys) had a lovely time and I wouldn't be surprised if you had some enquiries from mums of the some of the girls. I will certainly recommend you to anyone who is looking for something different from the usual party events.
Megan Johnston - - #8165
“My daughter and her friends had a lovely time making scented candles at her birthday party. Sarah introduced girls to a brief history of candle making. It was interesting and fun for the girls. I can recommend this workshop to every parent who is not quite sure how to organize their child's birthday. It was a very good choice. Emily and her girlfriends enjoyed it entirely and returned home with a selection of colourful and lovely scented candles made by themselves. Thank you very much Sarah for such a wonderful time the girls have had!
