Matthew Harrison reviewed: Creative metalwork and welding, scrap metal sculpture.

"Really enjoyed this course, one of the best I’ve attended. Great for beginners or experienced DIY enthusiasts. Good chance to learn new welding skills from the teachers who are more than happy to share their expertise. They have everything including plasma cutters I’d happily do it all again. Good relaxed atmosphere. Excellent!"

Stefanie Strachan reviewed: Organic Skincare Workshop 2 Attendees £90 per person

"My aunt booked me this course for a Christmas present and arranged for a friend of mine to get it for Christmas too. We weren't sure what to expect, Allison was really friendly. We did learnt things about types of products and how they're made, then we did loads of making. We made our own multi-use balm, facial oil, rosewater toner and clay face mask. We got to choose all our own scents. It was a really brilliant day and we learnt so much. Want to go again! (Stefanie, aged 12)"

Cliff Roberts reviewed: Stained Glass course

"A 5 star rating for this excellent course. Keith provided an immersive, experiential day. Starting with aspects of cutting glass and lead came. You then make your own design and Keith gets you started. From then on you make your chosen design stained glass project. Keith keeps an eye on your progress and is available for guidance as you need it. My project was assembled by me and then soldered to finish. I was amazed that with Keith’s expert knowledge and skills I had made my project in 6 hours and felt confident to continue making projects at home. A truly amazing course. Thank you Keith. "

Antique and Period Glassworks responded:

"Thanks cliff, great review thank you, hope this gets you started on your new hobby."

Caralyn Duignan reviewed: Felt Making Pictures

"I’ve just completed a fabulous day with Jo on the wet felting course. I didn’t know what to expect and don’t consider myself creative at all. Jo explained all the processes really well and she was so supportive. And I came home with a great colourful piece of felt. So good, that I’ve booked another course with her."

Phinefibre responded:

"Thank you Carolyn for writing a lovely review, you both created a beautiful felted picture as did all the students and all very different. I love running this introduction to felting workshop. Look forward to seeing you again soon. "

Sarah H reviewed: Silver jewellery workshop for all abilities with Jude Karnon

"This was a fantastic experience from start to finish. I came with 3 part-finished projects and was able to finish all of them in the time available. Jude was very patient and reminded me how to use my old and rusty skills, as well as providing all the equipment I needed. She made some suggestions to help me fix some not very pretty looking bends and solders from a rushed finish elsewhere. I am really pleased with the ring and both pairs of earrings that I can finally wear and gift!"

Jude Karnon Jewellery responded:

"Hi Sarah, Thank you for your wonderful words. It was a pleasure working with you. And your earring projects inspired me to share with my Bucks learners who are now making their own versions."

Keith Lippitt reviewed: Woodworking power tool workshop

"I booked the Woodworking Power Tools Workshop with Tyler Mason in Congleton. It was my first woodworking workshop, it was a fantastic day and extremely worthwhile. He guided me through each step and explained why certain processes work and others don’t, which is why I thoroughly enjoyed the course and content. I experienced using a great range of different power tools and some manual techniques to achieve the same result. Tyler was so approachable and knowledgeable which made the course so easy! I now have a new enthusiasm for woodworking. I would highly recommend his courses to anyone interested in learning about the wonderful subject of woodwork."

Dawn and Julian reviewed: Beginners 1-day 1-2-1 pottery / ceramics workshop for 1 person

"Julian and I have just finished a one-day pottery course with Louise and cannot speak highly enough of everything. We were able to try all types of pottery, from pinching, to throwing on the wheel and, despite being total beginners, under Louise's guidance and excellent tutoring, we produced items that we are really rather proud of and cannot wait to see after they are fired. We were part of Louise's family for the day and found this just the most welcoming and delightful way to help us to feel engaged and looked after. The location is beautiful and the facilities are just about perfect. We will definitely be coming back for another course and a catch up. Louise is a warm-hearted person who just makes you feel that you can achieve in the time you spend together. The day rushed by because we enjoyed everything that we were able to create and participate in. Thank you, Louise. We recommend this course highly."

Blended Monkey - pottery - woodturning - green woodworking - pole lathe - throwing responded:

clive reviewed: Make a Greenwood Stool

"The stool making course is exactly what you want from a true hands on experience. Maurice's calm and friendly approach has re-ignited my passion for wood crafts. As a long time wood worker, I had never done any true green wood crafting, and I learnt a lot from Maurice's vast knowledge base. A great location and very relaxed atmosphere."

Touch Wood responded:

"Thanks Clive, it was great having your company at the woodland workshop!"
