Description
In this live online workshop you will learn techniques to create beautiful floral designs on fabric with a range of mixed media materials combined with hand embroidery. Jessica Grady will show you some of her techniques to create the most beautiful blooms including 3D folded petals, beaded stamens and curling leaves and vines. As well as traditional textile materials Jessica will also show you ways to include recycled and waste materials and transform them into embellished treasure. Within the 90 min Zoom workshop you will create a mini textile sampler of floral ideas that you can take forward into other projects or even frame up your sampler as your own textile art piece. The workshop will be hosted live on Zoom, if you would like to attend but cannot make the live date, you can also purchase a ticket and receive a recording of the workshop to watch in your own time. This works well for any time differences for international participants!
