Wheel throwing workshop for two - private class
Description
Come and enjoy a private ceramics class for two and learn to throw on the potters wheel! This two hour workshop is a lot of fun and suitable for complete beginners. Imogen will first demonstrate how to prepare your clay and the process of centering, and finally shaping your pot. You will then spend time at the wheel (one wheel each!) practicing to create your perfect pots. You can then have the option to make spouts and attach a handle if you like. You can expect to make up to three pots each, and keep your best one to be glaze fired. Your masterpieces will be ready for collection around 6-8 weeks later (or delivery for P&P costs can be arranged).
What's included in the price?
I'll provide all tools and materials for you to create your masterpiece, plus two firings and glazing. Complementary refreshments included. My studio is in a converted barn in a beautiful rural location close to Christchurch, nestled by the New Forest and Avon Beach. It's easiest to travel by car, we have free parking onsite. Alternatively it's a 5 minute taxi ride from either Christchurch or Hinton Admiral train station.
