About the Course

Our 10 week upholstery classes are on Tuesdays for a
3hr session: mornings between 9.30am-12.30pm or afternoons between 1- 4pm.

You will be introduced to basic upholstery techniques and tools, and as you become more advanced, will be guided on a more sophisticated level, as appropriate. No experience necessary.

Dining chairs, stools and loose seats would be a suitable project for the beginner, while advanced students can work on more intricate projects.

Each student brings his own piece of furniture to work on, including top cover which we will gladly help you source.

You will be able to work at your own pace and under expert guidance.

Course fees are non-refundable.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

Tools will be provided and all other upholstery materials are available for purchase on site. Or alternatively supply your own.

Fantastic course, James is a brilliant tutor. Thoroughly enjoyed recycling my little Ercol chair. Already booked another block for my new project.
