Upholstery full day class - strip, pad and cover a dining chair
Description
During this class, please bring your own dining chair. David will show restoration and upholstery techniques and at each stage you may work on your own chair under supervision. * Learn how to strip, pad and cover.* Learn how to make minor repairs.* * Learn how to use upholstery tools and materials. What is the difference between this and the half-day class? With the half-day class, you may bring your own dining chair if you wish. David will pick one chair to demonstrate on and you will have a chance to try out the techniques he demonstrates. With the full day class, participants will be working on their own chair under instruction. What do we need to bring? * A dining chair to work on If you wish to replace the fabric or foam components of your chair: *Your choice of fabric* * Padding *Foam You can buy padding and foam on the day but please bring your own fabric. Course located in Surrey.
What's included in the price?
Please arrive 5 minutes prior to the start time of the class. Parking is available on the driveway. Tea and coffee are available throughout the day. There is no lunch provided so bring your own or there is a local shop 1 min drive away. Local train station is approx 10 mins walk and parking is available at the workshop.
