Description

The Three Day Wood Carving Class is held on a Tutor Farm in a quiet and peaceful little corner of Gloucestershire. The classes will be run by Sebastian Burchart, a talented professional wood carver and popular teacher who has been carving since 2014. You will have a variety of projects to choose from to enable you to take home a beautiful carving of your own that you can be truly proud of. Accommodation is available. Contact us via the 'message the tutor' button for information Sebastian is also teaching at:- His home studio in Bristol Stanton Guild House Newent Community School.

"This was my first wood carving course. I'd like to echo what the other students have said about Seb and host Dordie in their reviews. This in wonderful farm location. If your thinking of taking part in a wood carving course I would highly recommend this one."

"This three day course was excellent, the location of the farm was 10 minutes away and the set up was not only perfect but welcoming. I was made to feel at home and nothing was to much trouble. The food was out standing and plentiful as was the conversation around the dinner table. Sebastian was patient and relaxed in his teaching which enabled me too asked questions, he was every knowledgeable and imparted a huge amount of information and demonstrated technical skills which allowed me to develop new techniques in carving. Brilliant course. "

"Just finished the 3 day carving course at Middleton Farm with Sebastian and the ever positive and tireless host of Farm. What a fantastic host and place to hold the course. I can honestly say it has been the best course I have had the pleasure to attend. The facilities, the five star food has been faultless equally so for Sebastian's tutoring/instructions on the intricacies of carving. His relaxed professional attitude and ability to pass on his skills enabled me to produce work, (as a first timer) which was rewarding and pleasantly surprised me. I will be going on future courses with Sebastian. 5 stars for this 3 day course.. Gary Daniels"
