Join us at Komaru Outdoor Adventure for a masterclass in spoon carving, led by expert instructor Andy Lewis. The course, limited to 10 people, will take place in our beautiful woodland made up of larch, birch, oak, beech and hazel.
Suitable for beginners, we will take you on the journey from tree to spoon, including how to select and cut a log, and prepare a spoon blank - along with carving, shaping and finishing.
We aim to give you the skills and knowledge to continue carving after your day with us, creating beautiful items during and after the course.
Our course venue, Komaru Basecamp, is in Fishbrook Wood on the Knowsley Estate, within the grounds of the famous Knowsley Safari Park. It is easily reached from the motorway with substantial free parking and good amenities close by.
