As the cold weather draws in and wild food becomes scarce this is the time of year when we like to do what we can to help the local birdlife. A great way to do this is to create a small birdhouse from willow.
The type of entrance that you create will vary depending on the type of birds that you wish to attract, it may be round or square, large or small and will measure approximately 32cm x 14cm.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
All materials and tools will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
Please note that working with willow and using small tools can be tiring on the hands and requires a good level of hand dexterity and strength. This may be difficult to do if you have arthritis or a similar condition, so please let us know if you need buff willow instead of the traditional brown please be aware this type doesn't have any bark but it is kinder on the hands.
Please wear clothing you are comfortable working in.
Refreshments are provided please provide your own lunch
6½ hours (10:00am to 4:30pm)
