About the Course
Willow Sculpture Workshops
Sara and Hanna run 1 day willow sculpture workshops throughout year. They are suitable for complete beginners as well as more experienced crafters or artists. Most workshops are usually 95% complete beginners.
Set in a picturesque country garden in Surrey the workshops offer an informal and relaxed atmosphere where students can spend an enjoyable day creating their very own willow sculpture.
Each workshop is carefully designed for small exclusive groups to ensure optimal attention from tutors. With lots of support, student’s personalised ideas and designs, will be crafted onto a basic armature of mild steel or hazel, constructed beforehand.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
Armatures, willow and all materials are prepared and supplied on the day.
Tea and coffee is served throughout the day.
Plus! A light vegetarian lunch is included in the price.
Sara is a first class willow sculpture who imparted enough of her knowledge to help me create the flying owl that I desired.
She is very calm and a great coach.

Response from Willowtwisters:Thank you Peter, you were a first class student too! Your owl in flight is fantastic! Well done. Sara
A thoroughly enjoyable day. Very informative, friendly and inspiring course. Lots of individual tuition & everyone on the course was able to complete or almost finish their sculptures due to helpful suggestions on choice before the day. The rather damp, cold day didn’t stop us, though a lovely lunch did help to keep us going . Extremely pleased with my day's work - Graham the Greyhound!!
