Willow piglet/small pig workshop with Jacqueline Rolls

Willow pigs in a line
X

Description

Create a cute willow pig, a great introduction to sculpting animals.

You will learn a number of techniques including random weave and basketry techniques. The workshop is suitable for beginners and those with some experience.
As we all work at different speeds my aim is to get you to the stage where you have created a sculpture that is recognisable and that you feel confident to carry on at home should you wish to do so if you haven't completed it in the session

Activities for students who are new to willow sculpture or have some experience, which includes these small piglets. Please note that the level of detail that you will achieve will depend on your level of experience.

Just a little about myself:

I have many years of experience in teaching crafts and I offer a range of different crafting activities, my main specialism is working with willow and includes, willow sculpture and willow weaving.

I had a fabulous day. Jacquie really cared about what she taught us and I ended up with a very characterful hare because of this. The atmosphere was gentle in the class and the 5 of us had a good chat as we were weaving our hares. I would defiantly recommend Jacquie and her willow weaving classes.

Response from JaxsArts Willow Sculpture and Crafts:

Thankyou for the lovely feed back Sarah that is most kind I am glad that you enjoyed yourself
All the best

Had a really enjoyable day with my sister on the willow piglet course. Jacqui was very knowledgeable and friendly in teaching us complete novices. Was a real bonus to be able to take home a fully completed willow pig. Would fully recommend it and I am interested in doing another course.

Response from JaxsArts Willow Sculpture and Crafts:

Hi, Debbie thank you for a lovely review, it was a pleasure meeting you both.
I hope that the journey home went well
:-)
Best wishes

I had a fantastic day first time doing something on my own, I was made very welcome.
Food good.
Great teacher.
People can't believe I made the piglet myself (they said I must of bought it).
I also loved that everything was provided, it was so much easier.

Response from JaxsArts Willow Sculpture and Crafts:
