Hello, I'm Sharon, an experienced Sculpture & clay artist, I regularly host fun and informal pottery sessions from my studio in the beautiful village in Heskin, Lancashire.

The Class runs everyday except Sunday & Monday and is a great introduction to the fabulous world of clay hand building. It's a great all rounder class that will suit the needs of many, its suitable for beginners. Those aged 14 years + can attend with accompanying adults.

Class Times: 10-12.30pm or 1.30-4pm

We use pinch pots, coils or slabs to make some fabulous clay creations by hand. You will be shown how to prepare, join & assemble the clay before adding texture & details, giving you step by step instructions during the build.

Planters, Vases, butter dish's, fruit strainers, lidded pots, pet dishes, lanterns, Gnomes & simple animals are all popular makes - there's loads of choice and ideas in the studio.

The class includes bisque firing ready painting with acrylics at home OR you may wish to return to the studio to glaze your creation. This is an optional extra, £15pp.

The Crafty Potter studio is based within Heskin shopping Village, a unique retail and leisure destination featuring over 40 unique shops and businesses. With free parking we’re a perfect destination for you to make a great fun day out.
