This step by step class is taught by Sharon, an experienced sculpture & clay artist from The Crafty potter studio in the beautiful rural village of Heskin, Lancashire.

Sharon regularly host's fun & informal 1:1 classes unless of course you are coming as a couple or part of a larger group, Classes run everyday except Mondays.

This class can be a fabulous introduction to the world of clay hand building, or is suitable for those with some experience who want to continue their clay journey.

We use either coils or slabs of clay to make some fabulous creations. Plates, planters, butter dish's, fruit strainers, pet dishes & lanterns are all popular makes - there is loads of choice and you can choose on the day.

You will be shown how to prepare, join & assembling the clay before adding texture & details.

The class includes simple glazing by Sharon ready for collection, should you wish to glaze this yourself on a return visit, it is an additional £10.

The Crafty Potter studio is based within Heskin shopping Village, a unique retail and leisure destination featuring over 40 unique shops and businesses. With free parking we’re a perfect destination for you to make a great fun day out.

Bookings can be for either two households or a group of 6.To keep our studio safe we have sanitisers, social distancing & reduced numbers, alongside Deep cleaning and disinfecting.
