Description
Come and join me for a one-to-one wheel throwing pottery experience! Whether you just want to try something new or have always wanted to try your hand at wheel-throwing. Feel the thrill of shaping clay pieces using the mesmerizing pottery wheel. Under the guidance of myself, Rebecca I will teach you the basics of wheel throwing. From centring to wiring off we will go through everything together. The price of the class includes glazing and firing for 3 pieces, so you can come back to pick them up once they are out of the kiln in approximately 3 weeks after you have had your experience. I have a selection of glazes for you to choose from for your finished pottery. This is an adult only experience. Although, if you have an enthusiastic teenager who really wants to give it a go, please send me a message! I am an artist living in North Yorkshire. I take my inspiration from my love of colour, quirky personality and print design. I am a qualified teacher and have many years of experience working with children, adults and students with special educational needs. I have a passion for creativity and education. I hope that my makes can inspire others to have a go at being creative.
