Really enjoyed the course. Emma was very kind and an excellent teacher. Learned a-lot of useful skills for upholstery which I will be able to use for a home up-cycling.
Response from Semper Hopkins Interiors:Hi Jill It was so nice to meet you on Friday. I hope your husband loved the map fabric on your storage crate. Well done for making a lovely piece. It was a pleasure to have you at the workshop thank you for leaving us a 5* review. Emma
Having seen the wonderful craftsmanship of Emma and her dad I was really keen to 'have a go' and learn a new skills from such talented people. The day did not disappoint in any way. From the preparation and help to choose my fabric, to the clear support and guidance during the day; everything was fantastic AND I got the take home a wonderful, useful piece of furniture. I highly recommend this course and am even thinking of doing it again so I have another one for my next grandchild (Emma made one for my granddaughter)
Response from Semper Hopkins Interiors:Thank you for the kind words Pauline. It was amazing to have you on the workshop. You had a natural gift for it and took to the craft brilliantly. You especially set yourself a challenge when you chose a patterned check fabric, keeping the right tension so the the lines remained straight. Your creation turned out brilliantly. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.
As somebody who sits behind a desk all week, the only creativity I get is using spreadsheets! So the day I spent in the beautiful workshop with Emma was awesome - then I got to take home my gorgeous crate too! Highly recommend!
Response from Semper Hopkins Interiors:It was a pleasure to have you Lee-Sara. It was such a fab day seeing the buzz you got from learning the new skills and making your own piece of furniture. I am pleased to see it has been useful storage for all of your university books and files.
