About the Course

A shave horse is a traditional and essential piece of equipment for working in green wood. It is used to grip the length of wood you are working on and hold it steady to enable you to shape the wood using a draw knife or a spoke shave. Come and make your own and learn how to use it. Once you have made it start using it, then its yours to take home.

A family or friends group of between 3 and 8 people can book a day all to themselves. A booking of 6 or more will give you a 10% discount. Just contact us with preferred dates and we'll work with you to create your course.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
