About the Course
Make a beautiful felt picture with artist Penny Fleet.
You will be working in Penny's garage studio and will learn how to make a piece of felt fabric using dyed merino wool fibres, pre-felt, soap, water and your hands, using the process known as 'wet felting'.
You will learn how to make the felt, blend and 'paint' with fibres and how to create fabulous colour combinations, patterns and shapes. Making felt takes a while and is extremely therapeutic so this full-day workshop runs from 10am-4.00pm and includes lunch and refreshments.
By the end of the day you will be able to take home a finished piece of felt fabric approximately
40 x 30cms.
No experience is needed, beginners welcome.
£75.00 per person and maximum is 4 people. Groups of friends welcome.

I throughly enjoyed a Penny’s felt making course. She is an excellent teacher. Teaching by example throughout the process from start to finish, and is always there to help and suggest. I was amazed on turning wool fibres into a piece of art. It was like magic.
With delicious food and an idillic location, its a great way to get away and have a day for yourself. I will certainly recommend
Thank you Penny.
