About the Course
Make a beautiful felt picture with artist Penny Fleet.
You will be working in Penny's garage studio and will learn how to make a piece of felt fabric using dyed merino wool fibres, pre-felt, soap, water and your hands, using the process known as 'wet felting'.
You will learn how to make the felt, blend and 'paint' with fibres and how to create fabulous colour combinations, patterns and shapes. Making felt takes a while and is extremely therapeutic so this full-day workshop runs from 10am-4.30pm and includes lunch and refreshments.
By the end of the day you will be able to take home a finished piece of felt fabric approximately
40 x 30cms.
