Introduction to ceramics - 8 week Friday afternoon course

Introduction to ceramics- 8 week course.
This course is perfect for beginners of all ages, but also caters for more experienced potters who just want to come and use our facilities. Depending on your skill level, we can give you as much or as little help as you need.
We will meet every Friday afternoon from 1:00pm-3:00pm for 8 weeks.
During the course we can teach you to throw pots, make slab/coil pots, decoration techniques, glazing and sculpture. At the end of the course you will have your own finished pieces to take home.
An amount calculated by weighing your finished pots will be charged at the end to cover our material and firing costs. To give you an idea, an average sized mug or bowl is usually around £4-£6, whilst if you made a very large vase it might be more like £20+

We believe pottery is a very relaxing and therapeutic activity and a great way to meet new people.
Come and get creative!

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.

What's included in the price?
