About the Course
Our intermediate course will enable you to improve your throwing technique, as well as develop additional skills such as adding handles, creating simple spouted forms such as jugs and creating basic lidded jars.
Students joining us from outside, i.e. those who have not completed one of our beginners’ courses or weekends, should be able to centre comfortably, throw small/medium cylinder and bowl forms, and be familiar with basic techniques for turning leatherhard pots.
**All our 6-week courses include open-access studio time to come in outside of classes to practice at your leisure and make more pieces!**
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
Tea/coffee, aprons, tools, glazing and firing (initial clay allowance supplied, additional clay available to purchase at the studio as required).
This craft course provider has been awarded Bronze status for receiving 1 or more 5 star ratings from previous students.
The Students' Choice award ensures that course providers get recognised for their efforts in the teaching and practice of UK craft.
They also allow tutors to gain valuable feedback on their courses and for new students to find the course that's right for them.
