About the Course
This is a group course I need minimum of Three students . If you are not a group i will match you up with other students .
I will teach students how to make a basic dragon fly from tinned copper wire.
A more complex dragon fly will take two or more days to complicate, by either booking another day course or completing the dragon fly at home with the skills you have learnt .
Students will be taught how to form the parts of the dragonfly using various gauges of wire with the aid of drawings , former's and templates. Students will then be taught how to solder these formed shapes together to make a dragon fly.
The course will start with basic wire forming techniques using hand tools, and soldering using electric soldering irons.
I will be teaching the students, i have over 30 years of experience of making and teaching a wide range wire sculptures, from basic simple insects , to highly complex wire faiyies , I have been invited to exhibit demonstrate at Wisley Gardens and Surrey Hills. please see my website for more details and quality of my work . one to one courses are available please see my other course listings by clicking through to my website

This was a great course, Roger is very patient and takes the time to ensure everyone knows what they are doing whatever their skill level. As a complete novice I learnt so much in one day and took home a beautiful dragonfly that I made! Highly recommended.
