About the Course

An introduction to life sculpture, with tools and materials provided. Experienced sculptor Sophie Howard will guide participants through the process of making a scaled down sculpture of the live model in terracotta clay. This two day course will include modelling from observation, and full guidance will be provided.

Those with some experience as well as complete beginners are welcome. Completed pieces can be fired later and preparation for firing is included in the course. There will be a nude female model.
