About the Course
Enjoy a day getting creative with clay at my studio in beautiful rural Dorset. Come and learn how to make your own ceramics at this hands on pottery class.
This popular class runs every month and is suitable for all skill levels. Please see our website for availability of places and to book.
The class will start with a short demonstration of hand building, modelling & surface decoration techniques. There will also be a quick wheel throwing opportunity.
After that it's over to you to sculpt your own creations from earthenware clay. Once complete, decorate your greenware with coloured underglaze paints to finish your creations. You can expect to make up to two pieces of pottery.
Leave with Imogen to glaze and fire your work, ready for collection (or delivery for P&P) around 4-6 weeks later.
Places are limited to 6 students to ensure plenty of one to one tuition and support throughout.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
I'll provide all tools and materials for you to create your masterpiece, plus two firings.
My studio is in a converted barn in a beautiful rural location close to Christchurch, nestled by the New Forest and Avon Beach. You will need a car to get here, but we do have ample free parking. There are several country pubs close by should you want a bite to eat.
