About the Course
This pottery class is an ideal 'have a go' session suitable for beginners.
The class begins with a demonstration of slab building, wheel throwing & surface decoration techniques. After that it's over to you! Create your own design and sculpt it from clay.
Once complete, decorate your wares with coloured underglaze paints to finish.
Imogen will then glaze and fire your work ready for collection around 4-6 weeks later (or delivery for P&P costs).
Class sizes are small and friendly, and Imogen will be on hand to offer support with ideas and processes throughout. Refreshments included.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
I'll provide all tools and materials for you to create your masterpiece, plus two firings.
My studio is in a converted barn in a beautiful rural location close to Christchurch, nestled by the New Forest and Avon Beach. You will need a car to get here, but we do have ample free parking. There are several country pubs close by should you want a bite to eat.
