About the Course
Get creative with clay at my studio in beautiful rural Dorset. Come and learn how to make your own ceramics at this hands on class. Small and friendly groups that are brilliant for friends, parties or work days out.
This class runs every month and is suitable for all skill levels.
10th March (FULL)
16th June more TBC
The class will start with a short demonstration of hand building, modelling & surface decoration techniques. There will also be a quick wheel throwing opportunity.
After that it's over to you! You can sketch out your design on paper, and then sculpt it from raw earthenware clay.
Once complete, decorate your greenware with coloured underglaze paints to finish your creation.
Leave with me to glaze and fire your makes, ready for collection (or delivery) around 3-4 weeks later.

What's included in the price?
I'll provide all tools and materials for you to create your masterpiece, plus two firings.
My studio is in a converted barn in a beautiful rural location close to Christchurch, nestled by the New Forest and Avon Beach. You will need a car to get here, but we do have ample free parking. There are several lovely pubs close by should you want a bite to eat, and across the yard is a cider press!
ABOUT the ARTIST:
Imogen is a practicing ceramic and visual artist based in Bournemouth. She's an experienced arts facilitator offering creative workshops to adults, schools and diverse ability groups.
With a BA in Applied Art & Design Imogen is able to offer a professional standard of class which is both educational and fun.
Please feel free to bring snacks with you, I can supply plenty of tea, coffee, plant milk and biscuits.
