Course Start DatesSunday 1st November 2020
About the Course
This ceramic workshop is suitable for beginners and is tutored by Glass and Ceramic artist Sara Wood.
During this half day workshop you will sculpt two birds using the traditional technique of pinch pottery.
The next process is to bring your bird alive with wings using a wide selection of vintage materials or, if you prefer, leaves to texture the white earthenware clay.
The final process will be to glaze your creations with colours of your choice. Your work will then be taken away, dried and fired and mounted on a beautiful oak plinth and returned to the farm or alternatively posted out to you.
Keep forever or maybe give away as a special gift.
Please bring an apron
