Upholstery Masterclass

Simion restoring a piece of furniture
X

Description

Join us here at Reloved for an Upholstery Masterclass with proven industry professional and BBC One’s Money for Nothing Upholstery expert Simion Hawtin-Smith.

This course is suitable for beginners wanting to learn the basics of upholstery, right through to professionals who want to learn tips on Simion’s signature styles.

Simion specialises in mid-century chairs, in particular Egg chairs, Parker Knoll, Greaves and Thomas and Ercol models.
Have you got an upholstery project but don’t know where start? Simion will provide you with all the advice and tools you need to give your piece of furniture a full restoration, from the frame to the finished project.

How to book:
Use the 'chat with the maker' button to get in touch with Nat with a picture and brief description of your piece of furniture. We will then determine how many days will be needed to complete your project and get back to you.

Bookings are non-refundable. If the workshop is cancelled for reasons beyond our control then alternative dates will be arranged.

If you are unable to attend please notify us as soon as you can and we will do our best to transfer you to another date, providing we are able to re-sell your place.

We reserve the right to reschedule a workshop if numbers are too low to make it viable to run or will offer to transfer any bookings to other available dates.

Materials provided for the workshop are for personal use only and are the copyright of Reloved Upholstery and Design and must not be reproduced.

£105 per day (inclusive of vat)

Refunds are not available on this booking. Start dates may be amended on request.

What's included in the price?

All materials are included except replacement foam seating, fire retardant Calico or Crib 5 wool interliner and Pirelli webbing. These items can be purchased on the day. All you need to bring is your project and your own fabric – just bare in mind that the fabric needs to be suitable for upholstery. We’re more than happy to advise on this. Or alternatively you can order your fabric through us and we’ll have it at the studio ready for your course.
