Clay and tools are provided and the fee includes the bisque firing of one finished thrown pot. If you want to fire more pots then this can be arranged at a small cost.

I will be wearing a visor and we will all be socially distancing throughout the day.

This course was just brilliant. I’d been thinking about throwing for ages - years - and when finally got round to it, it didn’t disappoint and now just want to do some more. Really visceral and cathartic. If you have any yearning to tap the wheely creative bit of your brain I’d heartily recommend you do this course with Charlie. He is the don!
Response from Charlie's Pots:Thank you very much for your review Hugh.
Fantastic workshop. Charlie was very knowledgeable, a great tutor and very patient. We had lots of opportunity to throw pots and I was amazed how much I'd learnt by the end of the day. Looking forward to returning to glaze my pots.
Covid social distancing measures in place so felt very safe.
Highly recommend this as a treat for yourself or a gift for someone.
Response from Charlie's Pots:Hello Lynne
Attended with my husband as his birthday present. Charlie is welcoming and attentive throughout the day. All equipment provided and prepared on our arrival. Charlie gives clear and thorough instructions and continues to help during the day for individual instructions. Made cylinders and bowls. Guidance given for onward firing and glazing. COVID rules followed so all good there. The day flew by. Would highly recommend- and to top it all there was tea and choccy biscuits!
Response from Charlie's Pots:Hello Louise & Tim
