Join experienced jeweller/goldsmith Lindsay Forbes, as she guides you this beginners course to make beaded snowflake decorations to adorn your tree! You’ll learn some basic beading design techniques using colour and scale to inspire you to create your own beaded combinations. Choose from a large variety of coloured beads to use in your unique decorations. In this course, you’ll learn some basic plier techniques to bend and shape the wire before finishing off your decoration with ribbon. In this course you’ll be able to explore pattern and colour first, before choosing which of your designs you’d like to make for your snowflakes and icicles. You can expect to make 4-6 decorations to hang on your Christmas tree!

Lindsay Forbes has worked in the jewellery industry since graduating in 3D Design in 2010. Working in a variety of areas from retail to repair, she has a great amount of knowledge in jewellery design and technical skills in goldsmithing. Following her passion for designing and making jewellery she founded her own business; Laconic. Passing on knowledge and skills is something that Lindsay enjoys doing and creating a fun, friendly environment where people can come to relax, be creative and learn and so 'Bench Box' was created!
