During this workshop Priscilla will share her techniques and processes showing you the vast possibilities of working with wire to create your own sculptures. You will learn how to manipulate lightweight wire using your fingers / pliers and then embellish your pieces with fabric, wax, and stitch. No experience necessary.
You will start the session with a learning the basics of wirework, tools and types of wires used for various project. There will be a short practice session to form some simple shapes like angles, swirls and how to flatten them. There will be an option to choose a gemstone or beads want to use for your project or you can bring your own beads and jewellery to be upcycled and included in your project....
Come along and join us to make your own unique artful wire bird sculpture.
You will choose from a variety of wires, steel, iron, copper and aluminium to create your bird. Full guidance and support will be given to create the features of your bird such as feet, body tail etc.
