"What can I say! My wife, daughter and myself attend the fused glass workshop, it was absolutely brilliant! Martin couldn’t have been more accommodating and the atmosphere is so relaxing. His expertise and wealth of knowledge was in abundance. We can’t wait to see our finished projects when they have been fired. I am definitely going to book on to one of his evening courses."

"We had a great day and were so pleased with the end results - I have already booked another workshop! Kate's instructions and demonstrations were clear and she was very patient. A real strength was the opportunity to be creative and have the freedom to get on with the activity with Kate's support rather than being confined to a set pattern. The workshop was so well resourced and set up for classes, which again meant that we could get the most out of the session as opposed to having to wait and share equipment as is too often the case with workshops. Thank you very much."

"I have been lucky to take part in Martin’s Stained glass classes for the last 4 years. I can definitely recommend them for many reasons. Martin is an excellent, highly knowledgable and patient tutor in all forms of glass creativity – Traditional leaded stained glass, tiffany, fused and painted glass. The classes take place in very comfortable and well resourced workshops (with covid safe precautions in place for the last 2 years). He is always there to teach you new techniques and support you to help you solve any problems in your work. I also really enjoy seeing the work that others are making – it is truly amazing seeing the skill and ideas of others around you. Without exception, everyone is welcoming and friendly, and happy to share their work. A great experience on many fronts – give it a go, you wil not regret it!"

"A fantastic day with expert guidance and support from Martin. Everyone had their own workspaces and tools and all the equipment (glass, paint, brushes etc) was provided for. Martin's demos were super helpful and we had lots of opportunities to ask questions and get support throughout the day. It was great to have the freedom to experiment and make our own designs too! Thoroughly enjoyed the day and can't believe how much fun it was. I've now picked up yet another hobby!"

"What’s lovely gift this was, bought for my birthday. My wife and I attended. We created a stained glass panel, on our one day course. Kate our instructor, was relaxed, fun and very informative. Everything we needed was supplied with clear, concise instruction. Directions to the location were good, with loads of free parking. I would definitely recommend this course… It’s 5 stars from us!"

"I attended this course on Sat 26/02/22. It was a very intense, satisfying and enjoyable experience. Kate was a wonderful tutor and guided all of us to produce wonderful and very individual tea lights. It was lovely to meet with a great bunch of new people, who also helped me when I struggled a little for which I am very grateful. I would recommend you dive straight in, you will be very happy with the teaching, the atmosphere and your beautiful tea light to take home and cherish. I would do another glass workshop in a heartbeat, I have been well and truly bitten by the glass crafting bug!"

"We booked this for my mother in law as a Christmas present, and I decided that I would go along with her to keep her company. This presented with some level of anxiety as she’s the crafty one not me… but I wanted her to have someone to enjoy the course with. I am so glad I decided to come along. It was a brilliant course, and even novices like me were able to take something home that I’d be proud to put on the side! Kate was a fantastic course tutor, and was really encouraging. "My friend and I attended this course yesterday - Kate was an excellent tutor, always conscious of safety. A full day of glass making, learning how to cut glass, grind the edges, apply copper bindings, tinning and soldering the pieces together. We both had great fun and came away with two beautiful and unique tea light holders - an excellent day and we can’t wait to return !!"

"I spent a throughly enjoyable 5 hours at Martin's workshop. As a complete novice I was not sure how successful I would be, but Martin was a fabulous teacher. Within minutes we were cutting glass and within the hour had our first piece made. It was a perfect way to be in the moment, to leave the hustle of life outside the studio. Martin was supportive but allowed you the freedom to be creative with a range of materials in a rainbow of colours. Can't wait to see my fired pieces. If you are sitting on the fence about this course, get signed up!"
