My daughter and I loved the day! It was lovely mother-daughter day out. Martin is an excellent tutor and we would love to do this again
I loved this Christmas course. I made personal decorations for my family plus I played around with different ideas I had myself. The course gives simple instructions and practice of various cutting techniques. Martin is very friendly checking in to make sure you understand what you are doing and gives constructive feedback so you can change and develop ideas. It was also nice to see some of his current work this time showing what is possible with glass crafts.
Clear tuition giving lots of cutting techniques & frequent support. Huge range of glass products to personalise your items or you could follow his demonstration pieces exactly.
It was an enjoyable, busy, focused day which passed too quickly. I made 11 decorations but you could make however many you had time for.
I attended this course after receiving it as a present. The Christmas crafts were really fun to make and Martin explained how to make each item in stages so that you could have a go in your own time. It was something I’d really wanted to have a go at and I would book another course in the future. The day went so quickly and Martin gave assistance at any point, with lots of encouragement
A fabulous day yet again on one of Martins courses. We’ve done a few now and we’re never disappointed. Already booked in for some next year. Xx
Fab day making fused glass decorations. Took my friend along who absolutely loved it. Made lots of Christmas decorations.
Instruction was excellent and the facilities are first class with everything provided.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere. First time doing fused glass, really enjoyable and productive. Recommended for anyone who fancies a go. Excellent tutorship from Martin as always
My 3rd fused glass class with Martin, and as enjoyable as ever; clear instructions and advice as needed. A great way to spend a Saturday!
Really pleased I attended the fused glass course, Martin gave really clear instructions for us to make many Christmas decorations. A lot was packed into the course with several different decorations to make, everyone could work at their own pace and the whole day was really enjoyable.
My second day course with Martin, first with fused glass. We made a lot of Christmas decorations, which was unexpected. Easy to follow instructions and ideas. Feeling more confident to try more complex patterns now. A great day.
I had taken part in Martin's stained glass courses some years ago and thoroughly enjoyed them. Fused glass seemed a slightly different course to try. I was bought it as a Christmas present and really enjoyed attending Martin's new premises. It is well equipped, plenty of space, everything you want to complete the tasks and a very relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of drinks available all day and cakes supplied by Martin at lunchtime!! I thoroughly enjoyed it and would thoroughly recommend any of Martin's courses. He is an excellent tutor. Thank you
Had a great time making Christmas decorations with Martin! We all managed to make a lot more items than we'd perhaps imagined before the course. I'd never done any glass workshops before, but Martin explained all the basics needed to get started and was always there to help if any of us got stuck. There was also a steady supply of tea, coffee and even some sweets and mince pies. Already planning to go back to do one of the Traditional Stained Glass or Tiffany Stained Glass workshops!
As a complete beginner to working with glass I thought the course was relaxed (deceptively so, as we made lots of Xmas decs ), interesting and very informative ! Lots of encouragement and help from Martin !
The hamlet looks interesting and on a nice day I’m sure would be worth a wander round with a nice cafe and toilets.
Seriously considering enrolling for the 10 wk course.
Well appointed and safely organised workshop, good car parking and great little cafe.
Martin is a very good tutor, deceptively relaxed as we actually worked hard!
Would love to sign up again. Any chance of bowls/shaped (slumped) panels day? Glass casting?
Thank you Martin.
Fused glass Christmas decoration workshop. This was a thoroughly enjoyable day. I couldn’t wait to collect my glass, and I wasn’t disappointed, would definitely recommend!
