"Dionne was amazing! She gave me some very simple but useful tips on how to get going with my mosaic project. I had taken on something far too complicated but I managed to complete it with Dionne’s zoom sessions. Had a tremendous amount of fun with her and will definitely be having further sessions in the future."

Kate Hall reviewed: Classic Linocut & Print Kit with 10 items, choose your own colours, UK made with video tutorials

"This kit is just what I wanted. The materials and tools are of good quality and the instructions are easy to understand and follow. The clear explanations and guidelines and tips make for a positive and encouraging result to make you want to do more. Additionally, the set came beautifully wrapped and without 'over the top packaging' which is very important to me. I would recommend this product and in one word it is 'excellent'! Thank you"

Jane Burgess reviewed: Christmas Wreath Making Kit on Eco-friendly Willow Bases

"My daughter in law loved creating the wreath. It is hanging resplendent on their front door. A hit as a birthday present! Thank you."

Jenni Wren Creative responded:

"Thank you for you feedback and that is so rewarding to hear, especially as presents can be so difficult to get right. Either by not being used or put away in a draw somewhere. However in your case, your present is displayed on her front door. ? What a compliment? So glad your daughter in law enjoyed the creative process. A hit all round.?"

Sally Griffiths reviewed: 10- week Introduction to Soft Pastels online zoom art course with live tuition. Suitable for complete beginners and people with some experience in Art.

"I've just completed the online Fundamental Art Skills Level 1 with Raya and an enthusiastic class of students. In 10 weeks, I have been astounded at the progress that I, and the other students, have been able to make as Raya has patiently explained, demonstrated and worked with us to awaken and develop our drawing and understanding of form, shape, colours, as well as our observational skills. Raya is a warm, encouraging, enthusiastic teacher whose lessons are always interesting, well-structured and professionally delivered. I have signed up for Level 2 and am looking forward to learning further techniques and to making further progress."

Gina Ganzenmüller reviewed: Beginners Candle Making Course One Day Course via Zoom

"I've really enjoyed the course and was happy to recommend it to a friend who is also interested. Paula is very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. Although I do not wish to pursue candle-making as a business, I still found it useful even if I'll only make a few for myself and some friends. Thanks very much. I'll be in touch if I need more advice. Gina"

Old Bexley Soap & Candle Co. responded:

"Thank you Gina, I am pleased to hear you enjoyed the course. Thank you very much for the recommendation too!. Paula"

Ian reviewed: Blacksmithing - one to one - Hammer Skills

"I did the course with my son and had a great time. We have never done anything like this before but the instruction from Bob were excellent and covered the basics of hammering in the morning, which I now know you have to listen to the hammer sound to get the blows right! The afternoon was to make your own thing. I made a fork, though it ended up a little shorted than it should have been (I didn’t realise you could burn metal) and my son made a trivet of his own design, all with a little help from Bob. Thanks Bob."

John reviewed: Beginners Epoxy Resin Workshop

"I was a complete novice when I came to the session. Richard did a good job at showing me the basics and gave me the extra time to make sure I had the ability to make a basic resin table when I left. I'm glad I came and it was well worth the time and the money. I am looking forward to coming back to learn more and taking my 'skill' to the next level."

The River Shop responded:

"Thanks for coming John! Hope you continue to develop your interest in resin and we see you again soon! Richard"

Hilary reviewed: Christmas Wreath Making Kit on Eco-friendly Willow Bases

"I ordered the Easter wreath for myself and was really pleased with the quality of all the materials, the way everything was labelled clearly and packed well. I adapted the design slightly by making the wreath using just the flowers. I made use of the nest and eggs, adding some chocolate eggs too, as a surprise for my granddaughter. She loved it! Thank you. It was a great project."

Jenni Wren Creative responded:

"Hi Hilary How super to hear how you adapted the design and what a delightful idea using the nest to display the Choccie Easter Eggs for your granddaughter. There is something special about a handcrafted item and so happy she loved it? Yes, thank you, I do try my best with the packaging.? I like to recycle and label by hand so was really happy to hear my attention to detail was appreciated. Have a wonderful Easter, Jenni"

Adriana Main reviewed: Alien spoon carving

"I had a great time learning about spoon carving. Alan was a great teacher and very patient, explaining about some of the carving techniques and safety in using the tools, including an axe! Also the importance of stretching frequently to avoid painful joints. By the end of the day I had managed to create a wooden spoon, albeit a bit on the chunky side but I was very happy with what I managed to produce. In addition, the hospitality provided was excellent, I felt really well looked after by Sim, providing home made delights. Since the course Alan has provided a post workshop information sheet about tools, etc. I would recommend to give this a try!"

Fran reviewed: Felted Pictures Moonlit Night - Full kit, instructions and LIVE online tuition.

"I really enjoyed this course. Melanie's instructions were really clear and even though it was online it was fun working alongside the other participants. The kit had everything needed to make the picture, with plemty left over for another one. Unwrapping the felt picture I had created was very satisfying - quite magical how the wisps of wool laid down on the bubble-wrap turn into a piece of art. It was great to be able to join this from my kitchen and I hope Melanie will continue to run these online even when it's possible to have face to face courses again."
