SUE reviewed: Woodland birds two day workshop - Painting the birds of the British National Forest

"A fantastic workshop run by a fantastic artist. Sue was an inspiration to me, having shown the group how to create stunning paintings in acrylics in her own style. I had never used this medium before and with Sue's guidance and examples , I was able to complete three paintings in my own style. It was such a pleasure working in a friendly environment with a wonderful group of people. I gained confidence as the weekend progressed. I will certainly be booking onto Sue's other courses in the future. "

"Thanks ever so much Sue, for taking the time to leave such a kind review. You were a pleasure to have on the workshop and you are a very talented artist! I'm glad you enjoyed the weekend, and I look forward to seeing you again."

Victoria Taittinger Montero reviewed: Jewellery design painting with professional jeweller

"I loved everything about this course! Guillaume is an attentive and knowledgeable teacher. He made sure that everyone was following the steps at their own pace, was keen to answer questions and pushed each one of us to develop their own technique and style . His knowledge of stones, his eye for craftsmanship and the nuggets of fun facts he shared with us about jewellery design and the industry as a whole gave me an appreciation of the work involved in designing unique pieces. The course was comprehensive, fun and eye opening.I hope to be able to sign up to more in the future! It was also fun to know that one can acquire their very own bit of art & craft through Guillaume and even help create them! "

The workshop space is inspiring and Lucy teaches in a way which makes you believe you can do it, even if you have never tried this before! It’s a great experience and of course I now have a lovely footstool to encourage me to put my feet up. Highly recommend."

She is able to multitask, provides lovely lunch in between and makes pictures of your personal activities. So that you have a reference afterwards. Karl Filby reviewed: Beginners 1-day 1-2-1 woodturning workshop for 1 person

"As a complete novice I had no idea if I would show any aptitude for wood turning, Simon made me feel comfortable and capable. Simon was extremely patient, answering all of my questions without ever making me feel inadequate or talking down to me. I must have left the day a better wood turner than when I started as I had never touched a lathe previously and left with a couple of pieces. So mission accomplished by Simon. Refreshments and lunch were plentiful and delicious. My biggest bugbear with the course was leaving keen as mustard but with the prospect of having to spend a load of money to set myself up!! What an excellent day, it flew by. "

Blended Monkey - pottery - woodturning - green woodworking - pole lathe - throwing responded:

"Hi Phil, So glad you enjoyed your experience and apologies for causing a mini financial crisis! If you need any help with sourcing equipment and tools, don't hesitate to get in touch. -- Simon"

"My second time at Jo's studio, this time the two day workshop and what a great time! Jo is a fantastic tutor, relaxed, helpful, knowledgeable and a great host. The studio is a little haven in beautiful surroundings with plenty of inspiration. The resulting garden sculpture is amazing, still can't quite believe I made it, and no two are the same so something very personal and original to take home. Five gold stars from me!"
