It was fun to make and you don't have to follow the pattern shown, you can put your own take on the design and make it truly yours. Mine turned out really gorgeous and I love it."

"My husband had bought me a Craft Courses Voucher and due to covid 19 I was struggling to find a course that I could do safely and that didn't involve travelling far due to restrictions. I then stumbled upon Jo Garden Art and got myself a bronze hare sculpture kit. The kit arrived super quick and came with everything you need to complete the sculpture, there were also details of links to the online video's that went through step by step for completing the sculpture. I enjoyed every minute and am looking to do another one as I enjoyed doing this so much! Would definitely recommend!!"

I’ve had a fab time learning the process and making the hare, it’s been quite intriguing! Thoroughly enjoyed it and would love to attend a workshop in the future when we can move about and everyone is safe, at your studio. I’ve done quite a few art workshops as I like to paint/draw, but I will say that few are as concise and relaxing as yours. I enjoyed the gilding part I’ve never done that before. Really enjoyed the polishing bit. It was amazing watching it start to pop! It’s been great. I'll send a picture of Mr Hare separately to your email, so you can see what I’ve done ?."

In 10 weeks, I have been astounded at the progress that I, and the other students, have been able to make as Raya has patiently explained, demonstrated and worked with us to awaken and develop our drawing and understanding of form, shape, colours, as well as our observational skills. Raya is a warm, encouraging, enthusiastic teacher whose lessons are always interesting, well-structured and professionally delivered. "I did the course with my son and had a great time. We have never done anything like this before but the instruction from Bob were excellent and covered the basics of hammering in the morning, which I now know you have to listen to the hammer sound to get the blows right! The afternoon was to make your own thing. I made a fork, though it ended up a little shorted than it should have been (I didn’t realise you could burn metal) and my son made a trivet of his own design, all with a little help from Bob. Thanks Bob."

"I ordered the Easter wreath for myself and was really pleased with the quality of all the materials, the way everything was labelled clearly and packed well. I adapted the design slightly by making the wreath using just the flowers. I made use of the nest and eggs, adding some chocolate eggs too, as a surprise for my granddaughter. She loved it! Thank you. It was a great project."

"This is the second online workshop I’ve done with Gwen & I enjoyed it just a much as the first. A great way to spend a couple of hours developing a new skill with good company. Kit contains all you need to produce a felted picture just like the one you see on the advert with lots of wool left over to make another one. Highly recommended."

"I had a great time learning about spoon carving. Alan was a great teacher and very patient, explaining about some of the carving techniques and safety in using the tools, including an axe! Also the importance of stretching frequently to avoid painful joints. By the end of the day I had managed to create a wooden spoon, albeit a bit on the chunky side but I was very happy with what I managed to produce. In addition, the hospitality provided was excellent, I felt really well looked after by Sim, providing home made delights. Since the course Alan has provided a post workshop information sheet about tools, etc. I would recommend to give this a try!"
