"Excellent session. Model was very good and adapted well to our requirements as well as providing a wealth of information about the vikings. He also brought a range of viking items...helmet, spear, axe, sword and sharpener. We finished with a final sketch of a viking funeral! A great and informative morning. Ann , our tutor was as usual very supportive while encouraging us to learn by doing and learning from our mistakes. I've now signed up for another 6 sessions!"

No previous experience needed, I had never used a vice , drill or done any soldering before. Just go and have fun with copper and silver. "

"I would thoroughly recommend this course! Jo is a brilliant teacher who creates a calm and relaxed atmosphere, and conveys a huge amount of knowledge which draws on her own real life experience. The ‘lesson plan’ for the day covered a lot of really useful information, but Jo was also extremely helpful in answering any wider questions that we had, and was very willing to share from her own previous experience. The locally made sandwiches and cakes were also delicious, and we felt well fuelled throughout the day! We came away feeling both inspired and equipped! "

"Really enjoying this course really good quality yarns. The videos are easy to follow and the written notes back up the video tutorials. I like that I have a course for life with all the materials available to look back on. Ellie is an excellent teacher and any questions you have she answers really quickly and she also sorted out an issue I had with one of the shuttles in a prompt and efficient way. I might have to sign up for the natural dyeing course next so I have lots of hand dyed yarns to weave with. "

"I wasn't sure what to expect when my husband booked the mosaic workshop, I was very nervous. Claire was wonderful and made me feel very welcome. I had an idea of what I wanted to do but, after looking round the workshop, I changed my mind and Claire helped me with a row of beach huts I'd decided to do. The encouragement and guidance gave me the confidence to make my work come alive and I had a wonderful day. Since the workshop I have been organising myself to do another piece. I can't thank Claire enough for her hospitality and for her encouragement and passing on her knowledge. I can highly recommend her and the workshop."
