Lucy and Bethany reviewed: Nettle Fibre Workshop

"Interesting and fun course, covered the topic well given the time frame and was very informative. A bit more info on the carding would have been useful as I don't think anyone was familiar with it at all, but it was overall a good introduction. Many thanks :) "

BeeKayMakes responded:

"Hi Lucy and Bethany, thank you for taking the time to write a review, much appreciated! It was great to have you both on the workshop :) I am so happy that you enjoyed 'nettling' for a day. Yes, we did cover a lot of textile techniques that day and hand carding is a bit tricky. However, your carded nettle fluff looked great, so you did it very well! I hope you will continue to have nettle fun in the future :) Bee 🌿🌿"

Janet Tai reviewed: Fused glass art for the garden

"Had a wonderful day with Diane in the Fused Glass workshop. Diane is easy going and offers plenty of encouragement and ideas. I was delighted with the artwork that I made for the garden. You don’t need to be arty to produce something original and eye catching. It’s a wonderful place to come with friends to chat and craft. Would like to come back and make some Christmas gifts. There’s a great cafe on the site and Diane’s shop is full of original art work and gifts. Thanks Diane"

Crafty Diane Gift Shop, Art Gallery and Craft workshops responded:

"Thanks Janet. You did really well and you are “arty” ;) Look forward to seeing you for a Christmas workshop x"

Jenny C reviewed: Copper wire jewellery Workshop

"From the moment I booked the course Kami was in touch asking what I wanted from the course and offering suggestions of how the course could be different to accommodate my existing experience and improve skills. She took her time to teach me different techniques and to make sure I’d taken in what she’d taught me. I’ve come away with lots of ideas of how to take my jewellery making and wire work to the next level. "

Mya Designs responded:

"Thanks for a lovely review, Jenny. It was great to see you already had so many skills in beadwork and glad this craft will fit nicely along side it. I could definitely see the improvements you made during the workshop and have lots of tips to take away with you. It was good for you to know more about basic techniques, tools and tips to give you a professional finish to your projects. Keep practicing making small findings like ear wires, head pins and jump rings so you have them ready for new projects. Take care :) "
