"I attended the rustic log stool course yesterday and it was amazing! We were guided through each step clearly by Pete and Jackie. Very relaxed atmosphere which made it so much more enjoyable. I came home with my stool and the family were very impressed. For anyone considering doing this I would say don’t hesitate! Looking forward to booking on another craft course soon. "

SHEILAGH MARY MAY reviewed: Leather Bag Workshop - Two day Evancliffe Leathercraft Workshop

"Top quality leather and training (English Traditional) - and very good quality, useable bag at the end of it. Would like experience working with softer leathers, so might be an idea to include a wider range of choices at the beginning of the course - just a thought. Very friendly couple with lots of guidance, hints and tips - with plenty tea and coffee and biscuits (as a corporate mgt training, I know how important tea and biscuits are!). Bonus was being able to select from a range of leathers for sale so we could go away and practise on our own. Would definitely recommend."

Les Johnson reviewed: Beginners Stained Glass Day With Panoramic Sea Views

"Before I arrived I was very unsure of what to expect from the course, I still can't believe that I left later in the day with a stained glass item that I had created myself. Aveen is a truly wonderful teacher and explained every stage of the process accurately and with patience and this very quickly made me feel at ease. Aveen's attention to detail and ability to understand me meant that the tuition given was very personal. Health and Safety was paramount and we were very well looked after throughout the day, the carrot cake was fantastic. I will definitely have no hesitation in recommending Aveen to any of my friends or family should the opportunity arise. Thank you again for a fantastic day Aveen."

"We had an excellent day, where I learnt a new skill and had great fun. The whole set up worked well, easy to find and on site parking. Two friendly but skilled tutors to 6 learners was a good ratio, always help on hand. We all made very different items, but were all pleased with our creations. I really recommend it. Thank you ."

"Had a fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable day turning a lovely bowl. Bill is a true craftsman, and clearly passionate about what he does and sharing that knowledge with others. Bill has created a wonderful workshop, [of which I am very envious :-)] and the pace of the day was spot on. Cannot recommend this course highly enough. "

Chris reviewed: Mosaic stepping stone

"I had a lovely day crafting with Jane. I am not sure why this was billed as a 6 hour course as that is far longer than is needed to make a mosaic stepping stone, but that was all to the good as it meant I had the opportunity to try lots of other things. Jane was completely flexible and in addition to my stepping stone, I made 3 beautiful glass fused projects. A thoroughly enjoyable day."

Cosy Creative Crafts responded:

"It was lovely to share lots of different skills with you. Sometimes stepping stones take up to 8 hours to make depending on the complexity of the design and the ideas folk create. You knew what you wanted to make so you had a head start. First firing complete, one more to go. Jane"

Lucy reviewed: Introduction to spooncarving at Hill End

"One of the most enjoyable and best organised courses I've been on. I was a complete woodcraft novice but David gave the perfect mix of help with basic techniques and expert advice - and the safety briefings gave me reassurance in using axes and knives for the first time. The ambiance was fun and relaxed, and creating something from wood from scratch was a very tactile and satisfying experience! Highly recommended."
