Description

A one day mixed media mosaic session offering a space to come and unwind, relax and re-connect with our innate creative gifts through the process of making mosaics together - 'Peace by Piece' Lots of beautiful mixed media materials to inspire your mosaic practice. We will explore the energies of colour, pattern, tone and texture on a deeper level - using a selection of recycled china, glass, pottery, shells, crystals, beads, old jewellery, small stones, pearls etc... We will practice basic cutting techniques using mosaic nippers and cutters. The invitation is to give ourselves some time to slow down and gently explore creative potentiality through 'moment by moment mosaics' You are most welcome to bring any of your own gathered treasures, or broken crocks you may like to use in your mosaic. No experience needed, just a willingness to explore in curiosity together. One to one support throughout the day within a supportive group. Come and play with possibility! These ongoing one day sessions run on Saturdays throughout the year. I am offering three different dates - 17th Feb, 8th June, 13th July - more dates to follow will be listed in April... Thank you for your interest!
