Description

On this one day course you will learn how to make a simple 3 legged stool. You will be guided through each stage of the process from cleaving wood, trimming and shaving the stool legs, shaping the seat, and drilling holes before assembling your very own stool to take home. We pride ourselves on providing a high quality learning environment with low numbers to ensure you recieve the best possible experience. This is also a great way to learn traditional green woodworking skills. Equipment used: Shave-horse, drawknife, drills, bits, surform, planes, augers, saws and tenon cutters What you need to bring: Bring your own packed lunch, warm practical clothing (layers are best) and strong sensible footwear. Location: This course will be running from our indoor craft studio at Brimslade which is situated near the beautiful Kennet and Avon Canal.
