We were supported in our choice of designs and Sarah explained what we needed to do and how we could make them a reality. Sarah advised step by step but made sure that we actually made our rings , sharing with us her expertise as a silver smith, and guiding us to create our lovely pieces of unique jewellery. Small groups ensure that you can work at your own pace and that you are neither held up nor moving too fast. Thoroughly recommend this as a fascinating and creative experience."

"Great course. Lovely setting. All round brilliant experience. It was a very full day so I barely stopped to chat. But all very informal and relaxed. Jo gave brilliant guidance and tips. Just the right amount. I was slowest in the group and being a bit of a perfectionist I hardly had time for lunch. Not a complaint though. Happy to be allowed to fiddle on. Pleased with my sculpture. The course tutors were brilliant and could not have been more helpful and encouraging. It definitely left me wanting to do more work of this kind, and I will be getting the equipment. The two hours flew by and I left feeling really relaxed, so that's a bonus."

"I booked two separate days during my summer holiday and thoroughly enjoyed my course with Annette. I had experimented by myself beforehand, but Annette taught me lots of techniques and passed on invaluable advice about equipment, paper and inks. Time flew by as we chatted like old friends, but there was plenty of time for printing my designs and I left with several decent prints and the knowledge to continue when I get home. Highly recommended!"

"I had a thoroughly enjoyable day. Vicky gave clear instructions and demonstrated how to use all the different tools I might need to shape my pieces of glass. It was really interesting learning how to do something completely new and I was quite surprised at how much I managed to do in the day. She offered suggestions or advice if I asked but it was very much my piece of work. It was a very relaxed, sociable day with a lovely lunch and I'm already dropping hints that I'd like another day as my Christmas present. Loved it."

I can't recommend this course highly enough. It's also set in an amazing workshop in stunning country surroundings. Book yourself a treat......you will not regret it!"
