This type of printing is unique in that it is a form of photography that does not require a camera or an expensive darkroom. I will provide gloves and aprons but it's best not to wear your favourite clothes just in case you get chemicals on them. You are welcome to bring your own materials (stencils, negatives, flowers etc) and play around with the prints. I will provide all other materials, including a hair dryer..... all will be revealed!
I do have a UV lamp if it happens to be an overcast day - let's face it, it's Britain!
You will be making prints on @ 17.5cm x 24cm card. Please bring something with you to help you transport the prints back home in a flat position.
We will also do a few practice paper prints for you to take home with you.
The class duration is 1.5 hours with a maximum of 4 people per workshop.
There is usually parking available on my road and the nearest rail station is Fulwell or Twickenham, London.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
All course materials and I will keep you topped up with tea or coffee (or Prosecco if a special occasion!)

Excellent class. Emma was both really helpful in guiding us and encouraging us to try our own thing. Would recommend this class!
I did this workshop yesterday with a friend and an 'influencer'. It was a really successful workshop and we all took home some impressive prints. The studio is just the right size for four students and Emma is a good teacher, telling students just the right amount of information. There is something magical, to me, in the printing of images and cyanotype printing is a very accessible. I'll definitely be doing more at home. Thank you, Emma
Response from Mapp of London:
Thank you for your review, Jayne - it was lovely to meet you and your friend and I'm delighted you both enjoyed the class. Good luck with your future creations!
