A Thornhill reviewed: Beginners Linocut Printmaking Taster

"This was an excellent course for beginners. Aprille explained about all the tools and other equipment required, and set up an achievable project as an introduction for novices in the craft of lino cutting and printing. She also gave us lots of tips and hacks, from her extensive professional experience in this medium. Everyone came out with a good result. Her studio is comfortable and inviting and was an accessible venue, being on the ground floor. The course was good value for money and very enjoyable."

Aprille McShane Artist responded:

"Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. It was lovely to meet you all. Warm regards, Aprille"

"I really recommend this course. Jamal is a talented artist and a great teacher. He explained the techniques involved in making a panel stained glass and helped a lot as we learnt how to use the tools to cut glass and apply the lead and solder. As a virtual beginner I was pretty nervous but Jamal gave me confidence and I am really pleased with the panel that I made. "

"I really loved every single minute of it! The small group of people allowed us to be closely followed by David Snoo Wilson in the creation of our own metal sculpture! With his skill, he took us trough the amazing process of bronze casting, introducing us to the fascinating art of metallurgy. The rural setting and the good company made this exeperience truly unique. I Highly recommend the course!!"

Yufan reviewed: Creative Fused Glass for beginners and improvers

"This was a great class led by Nadine, who was a friendly, helpful and experienced teacher. My friend and I loved the freedom to design whatever we wanted. It was very useful to have a range of real examples, both physical and photos, of previous pieces made at this class - it was easier to manage our own expectations rather than feeling like we couldn't create what we might have seen done by professionals on Pinterest! We had plenty of time to try multiple designs and it was great that the class wasn't huge numbers so it meant Nadine was available to answer questions. I'd definitely recommend this class."

Nadine Mahoney responded:

"Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review. 😊 I'm so happy you enjoyed the creative freedom of the workshop, and the size of the sessions. Your glass is in currently in the kiln and I'll be messaging you in a couple of days about pick up / postage. Nadine "
