She had an enormous choice of glass we could use and we all learned how to cut small pieces safely. Would highly recommend 👍"

I wasn't disappointed, Lizzie is a great teacher, very clear instructions and demonstrations and lots of hints on how to get the best bowl despite having weakness in my arms and hands. I thoroughly enjoyed the half day session and our bowls are already being put to good use :)"

We completed the beginner’s knife forging day with Alex, and we couldn’t have asked for a better instructor—especially with this being our first time forging. Alex was high-energy from start to finish, with a great balance of seriousness and lighthearted fun in his teaching style. He’s immensely knowledgeable, and his passion for the trade is unmistakable. That passion also shone through in his interactions with us—ensuring our safety, helping us understand the forging process and tools, and guiding us to create quality pieces we’re proud to have made and will cherish for years to come. I would definitely recommend this class. It was an authentic, hands-on experience, and even with effort required by the nature of it's craft , it was incredibly enjoyable all around. "

"Very enjoyable 1:1 "Lathe Turning for Beginners" workshop last week. Jake had prepared a lovely blank for me to work on (Sapele and Maple) and guided me through the process of making it into a bowl. I also learnt how to inlay copper wire into the rim. Very pleased with the final piece - the bowl is super smooth and finished with beeswax, which really brings the grain out. All in all, a thoroughly absorbing session - Jake provided me with just the right level of input. "
