FAQs

No, not at all. This course is suitable for those with no prior experience of woodturning.

The minimum age for woodturning is typically around 12 years old, as long as the young enthusiast is supervised by an adult. It's a fantastic way to spark creativity and learn new skills! With proper guidance, safety measures, and a passion for crafting, youngsters can enjoy this rewarding craft while creating beautiful pieces. However, I do run special 'Kids and Carers 2 Hour Woodturning Taster Session in Berkshire' through the year where children aged 9+ can attend so please book one of these sessions if you're child is between 9 and 12 years old.
