"We both thoroughly enjoyed the course and it had to be said that one of us was attending under duress but both of us were thoroughly smitten by the end of the day. John was a patient, thoughtful and enthusiastic teacher- e could not have asked for better. We would recommend this course not only for those with walls to tend to but for anyone who appreciates good craftsmanship and wants an interesting day."

Duncan Neilson reviewed: A Practical Dry Stone Walling Workshop Central London

"This was an excellent day from beginning to end. John Holt was knowledgeable, informative, interesting and made the day a perfect introduction to dry stone walling. I attended along with my 17 year old son and we both loved it. John has exactly the right combination of outlining what you should do, and letting you get on with it to "learn by doing". I can't recommend the course or praise John highly enough, it was a wonderful day. Thank You!"

"An Excellent course. I have been doing pyrography for about 2 months but wanted to learn more techniques. Susan certainly provided that and also gave me many hints and tips for me to progress my pyrography hobby. My main aims for the course were to understand shading, choose the correct wood and how to finish my projects (varnish, wax etc), these goals were achieved and I feel more confident in my hobby."

Sophie Hall reviewed: 2 Day Silver Jewellery Making Course - Ely

"Great from the word go. Booking the course online was really easy and the information sent through about the course was just right. The 2 days spent in Johnathan's workshop were brilliant. The learning was well structured and we covered lots of key skills for making silver jewellery. Johnathan is a wonderful teacher with so much knowledge and great ambassador for silversmithing and jewellery making. His passion for his art is infectious, so be prepared to get the bug. I'm keeping my eyes on the next course coming up later in the year."

Rosanna has an amazing selection of leather to choose from too. I definitely hope to return to make something more challenging. Oh and the lunch she provided was delicious too. Great value for money! Fiona Dean reviewed: 'Art of Stained Glass' - Oldbury, Birmingham

"Dear Jamal, Thank you for a great day on the Art of Stained glass leading. You took me through the whole process in a clear stepwise manner which I am sure I will be able to continue on my own. The studio was relaxing full of lovely music and birdsong-just my idea of a comfortable atmosphere to learn in. We covered not only techniques of stained glass but also history on the subject and other types of art. Your excellent teaching has inspired me and I intend to go back again to learn stained glass painting. Thanks again."

Carol reviewed: Full day fused glass course with breakfast, lunch and all materials included

"I have just had an amazing time on a fused glass taster day and can't recommend it enough. Right from the start of the day we were given a warm welcome by Kim and Sharon and treated to a lovely breakfast. They gave us a comprehensive guide to how to work with the glass and were on hand throughout the day giving advice and tips to get the best out of the projects that we were working on. Lunch was also a really welcome treat, as was the tasty victoria sponge cake made with real raspberries at the end of the day. Well worth the money and I so look forward to seeing my creations once they have been fired. Thank you so much."

"A fantastic workshop full of information and fun! Kerry explained clearly the different types of waxes, oils and of course gave us the chance to make our own "can to candle" product. I took my teenage daughter and we both had a lot of fun, hopefully a new hobby we can both share! Kerry was a first class teacher (and her scones were yummy too!)"

Sally Simmers reviewed: Bespoke candle making workshop - Edinburgh

"What a fabulous way to spend a morning; surrounded by candles, fragrances and good company. Kerry generously shares her knowledge, experiences and expertise as a candlemaker in the relaxing atmosphere of her beautiful kitchen. A warm welcome awaits anyone who is interested in learning the process of candle-making and by making one yourself to take away, you get to make the experience last that little while (actually quite a long while as you will be using soy wax to make your candles!) longer. I can highly recommend this course to anyone who is looking to start a new hobby or who is just looking for a little bit of quality "me" time. Thank you Kerry for a great morning and I look forward to seeing your business go from strength to strength. x"

"I have just returned home after the course I attended this morning with Sarah. One word - Superb! She made the morning fly by and I cannot believe how many candles we actually made. She was clear in her explanations of all the processes and within 15 -30mins we had made our first candle. I am now hooked with a capital H!! Thank you again Sarah and all the lovely ladies I met today. A fantastic way to spend the morning"

Steve Singleton reviewed: Group Soap-making Workshop - Soapology Studio - Nottinghamshire

"I really enjoyed the basic course that Emma took us through. The course was split, with theory in the morning and practical in the afternoon. A course designed not to be complicated but enough to allow you to make more soap the correct way in the comfort of your home. I'm sure after practice I'll be considering a more advanced course. An enjoyable course and recommended. Steve Singleton"

Mal reviewed: 'Art of Stained Glass' - Oldbury, Birmingham

"Had a great day with my sister at one of Jamal's workshops. Jamal was very welcoming and has such an obvious passion for stained glass, he is quite inspirational. Jamal gave us an insight into all aspects of his craft during our production of a small panel, he is very patient and there ready to help (and I needed his input!) but keen to encourage you try to do it yourself. As one of the older generation I would certainly recommend the experience to anyone old or young. Thank you Jamal."
