"A lovely morning with my sisters at a felt needling workshop in Stroud. Our teacher Yvonne was very patient especially with me as I am not a natural crafter. "I loved this workshop. Matt is a brilliant, inspiring and patient teacher. I’m one of those who gets frustrated that struggled to take the pictures I can see in my mind. Matt talked us through some key tools and approaches to help and when putting these into practice, he provided guidance, pointers and encouragement. Over the course of just one morning, I was able to see definite improvements in how I take photographs which made me very happy. The afternoon was my first attempt at editing photographs and it was so much fun! Matt explained the various options to give us some confidence and then encouraged us to play, offering opinions when useful. The range of pictures we created as a group was lovely to see. Matt answered lots of questions from us all and clearly knows his subject and really loves to share it with others. I came away with a lot of ideas and renewed energy around taking photographs and knowing how to practise the tools to create some really interesting images – lots of playtime ahead! Thanks Matt – I will definitely be back for more."
