Weave a small basket using willow Learn how to make a small, round basket from willow. These handle-less baskets are perfect for bread, fruit and general storage. We are excited to have Faye come and share her expertise for this lovely introduction to the craft of basket weaving with willow. She will guide you step-by-step throughout the process to make your very own basket. Suitability: Adults & Age 16+ Beginners & Those with some experience Please ask for advice if you have a younger creative person who is keen to take part. Duration: 5 hours plus a break for lunch Your place includes a delicious buffet style lunch provided by the Barn Café. Please advise us of any dietary requirements when booking.
What's included in the price?
All materials are provided, but if you have your own pair of secateurs then please do bring these along. Book early to avoid disappointment. Please Note: Weaving willow can be quite hard work on hands and fingers. If you have difficulty with your fine motor skills and grip, please ask us for advice before booking.
