🧺 3 Day Willow Weaving Workshop

Description

This is an opportunity to hone your weaving skills in whichever style of basketmaking you would like to have a go at. I can show you how to weave a round,oval or square baskets or all 3 with many different weaves. I am throwing this open as I often get requests for different styles so if there is a particular weave you want to try or a style please let me know in advance so I prepare the materials you will specifically need. do not feel you need to book all 3 days if you just want to do 1 day that is fine too, please get in touch. It does not matter if you have never woven anything before, this is a good place to begin your weaving journey.

All tools and materials are provided and tea and coffee. Please bring your own lunch.

I started wyldwoodwillow back in 2001 after weaving for a year or so... It helped me through a particularly difficult chapter in my life and I discovered that I had a burning desire to share the healing nature of weaving. I started teaching workshops fairly early on and weaving pretty much anything I could, currently I weave baskets, coffins, living willow,sculptures and create furniture and decorative fencing for the home and garden. My business is successful and I am a full time weaver.
