A foundation course in jewellery making giving you a thorough grounding in many processes used in the production of jewellery and the opportunity to develop personal skills in the use of hand tools. This short course will give you the confidence to develop your own ideas enabling you to create a piece of jewellery to take home. A full introductory course in 2 days - all day Saturday & Sunday 10am - 5pm.
You will learn
Health & safety in the workshop, how to decorate metal surfaces with texture & pattern, annealing & pickling, sawing & piercing, silver soldering, finishing & polishing.
What's included in the price?
Copper is included in the price.
Silver is available at cost - approximately up to £5 for a ring & up to £10 for a pendant.
All tools are provided for the weekend.
Coffee, tea & biscuits on tap.
Please bring a packed lunch for each day.
