Course Start DatesSaturday 7th March 2020
About the Course
In this one day workshop, you will learn how to weave with unusual materials, those which are often thrown in the rubbish bin! We will use plastics, cables, cords, old clothes and jewellery, and other random items, to make beautiful new fabrics. You can make a small bag, table mat, or a small wall hanging.
Both beginner and experienced weavers will enjoy experimenting, and it's all good for the planet!
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
All materials will be provided, but you're welcome to bring any oddments from home too.
You have the option to buy the weaving frame, pickup stick and shuttle at the end of the session.
Tea and coffee provided, but please bring your own lunch.
What a great way to spend a Sunday!
From the lovely venue, great company and tasty food to Sarah's ingenuity with every day wastes and how to breath new life into them. I would thoroughly recommend this workshop to anyone who wants to take recycling to a whole new level!
Today the wall decoration, next the egg bag!

Response from Weaving with Waste:Thanks Suki. It was really good to meet you, please send me a photo of the egg basket when it's completed. And thanks for the baler twine!
